What is the difference between a 20ft and a 40ft shipping container?

A 20ft container gives about 160 sq ft (1,170 cu ft) and fits most driveways and small yards. A 40ft container gives about 320 sq ft (2,390 cu ft) but needs roughly 100ft of straight access for the delivery truck.
