How It Works

An onboard 12V battery powers an electric motor, which drives the hydraulic pump. Pressurized hydraulic oil then extends the single-stage cylinder mounted under the deck and raise the front of the bed. As the bed tilts, the rear touches the ground and the container slides off under its own weight while the truck eases forward. Reversing the control retracts the cylinder and lowers the bed for travel.

What Powers the Cylinder

Self-contained electric-over-hydraulic power pack with an onboard 12V deep-cycle battery

Motor & Pump

Onboard 12V DC electric motor and hydraulic power pack; the tow vehicle does not need a wet kit or PTO to operate the tilt

Battery

Dedicated onboard 12V deep-cycle battery; charge fully before operation and maintain it separately from the tow vehicle starting battery

Controls

Hydraulic Maintenance

Keep the battery charged and inspect its terminals and cables. Check hydraulic fluid level and hoses/fittings for leaks before each use; keep the cylinder rod clean; change fluid per service schedule
